A maverick of jewelry design, Michelle Journey creates custom pieces known to challenge structural limits. Her handmade creations are intricate, bold and inherently royal. They feature complex angles rarely undertaken by jewelry manufacturers. Most manufacturers rely on computer-aided design software to create the mold that ultimately shapes jewelry. This allows for mass production. However, dramatic designs typically don’t make it past the automated calculations in software. The Michelle Journey collection includes one-of-a-kind pieces — like the “Enchanted” ring — initially deemed impossible by design software. Because Michelle has the unique ability to carve wax molds by hand, she works on every piece from concept to creation.
